Marc's current project...
About 12 years ago Gary and Marc had this great idea, let's make a convertible - SOTP style. Well, as can happen just after we got started something else caught our fancy (the '51 Chevy PU) and the tub project got shelved. Then kids, family, etc - you know the drill....
Fast forward to 2009 and Marc's wife, Kathy, saying "you need to get away from work and do something that is not soccer". Guess where Marc went? Yep, back to the bug. Things have been moving forward in fits and starts and a summer 2010 finish date is still hoped for.
The SOTP touch.... targa bar, '31 Ford Taillights, split bumpers, running boards replaced with rocker panels, suicide doors with SOTP created hidden hinges (designed before you could buy them) and custom windshield frame. Also a fully cleaned pan with late model IRS rear suspension.
